HI Beautiful Friends,
We continue living the dream at the Star Portal.. We had such fun on 11:11 with 30 plus enthusiastic folks playing full out. My heart is still singing. Thank You to everyone who showed up and added to the light of the world. We didn't physically see our galactic friends, (that I know of) and I know many of us are connecting telepathically, and I'm sure they saw us - we had the hugest bonfire lol! The volunteer fire department did a drive by.
Remember EMS tomorrow- Saturday Nov. 15- 11:30- 1:30 (always the 1st and 3rd Saturdays)
And the light and fun continues with a gratitude kirtan on Wednesday Nov. 17 with lovely Satya and her recently named Shanti House Band. I'm always excited about the kirtans!! Come chant, dance, meditate... Revel in the good vibes.
Then there is the 3rd Love and Flow Salon with Alison. The first two were beyond AMAZING. So creative and Fun! This one coming up on Saturday Nov. 22 at 2:00 promises to be even more fabulous if that is possible. There will be a super cool surprise- and probably more than one! We will have a (vegan of course) potluck and a bonfire following the salon. (flyer)
In December we are having a gratitude party and (vegan) potluck to celebrate the speakers, vendors, attendees, participants, friends of participants and folks who wished they would have attended ELEVATE and plan to next year. It was truly an amazing event!!! So much love, so much light, so many connections!

Are you feeling the energy amping up up up?
I trust magic is happening in your life. Next Tuesday is 11:11 and I’m feeling called to gather to play and raise our frequency and connect with our galactic friends. We will gather at 6:30 and go until——. It will be a co-created event with everyone who shows up.
So far I know we will have invocation, meditation, breathe along with Laurie Ellis, and we will create a soundscape with whoever shows up and wants to participate- either giving or receiving or probably both. I’m going to bring my new Innato flute (stone whistle) which I find very special, and we have lots of instruments. Feel free to bring your own. This will be with bells, chimes, bowls, gongs, tingly things, flutes, voices. (Not drums and shakers). We will have a bonfire, and if anyone feels the call to bring some (vegan) snacks to share, that would be great. This could include some singing and dancing, too. And laughing. Definitely high vibe joy and laughter. So bring your gifts to share, as we join together in sacred play. The idea is to raise our frequency and then connect with our galactic friends, perhaps even 3I Atlas. (third eye atlas). More will be revealed… Life continues to be sooo exciting!

We have been having a wonder filled time at the portal with magical classes, learning new cool stuff, being crafty, a wedding, group meetings, meetings in the woods, playing in the creek, singing dancing chanting meditating together and most importantly, having fun and building community while we're at it.
And here we are- about to meet November!
We have one more cool thing happening in October. Tomorrow, Saturday - Alison's Salon- Love and Flow on the Glazypeau! 2-4:30
I have included her letter about this class at the bottom of this email. I'm very excited! The first one was extraordinary! And this one sounds super fabulous! We will even be learning some knots, as we weave together! All tied up in connection. We are postponing the bonfire and pot luck until next month because of weather predictions. And hey, if isn't raining... a pop up bonfire could transpire... we are available for that possibility.
And note, women are invited to mens group this month!!

Dear Beautiful Friends
My heart is so full! So many good things in a row. The World Peace Day with a Kirtan with Satya and friends was magical. Alison's Salon was way beyond what I could possibly imagine, as she wove a connection to finances and the elemental kingdom. We had 25 participants! She put her heart and soul into the preparation for us. We lit up the woods with our art using all of the natural materials that she brought. Go for a walk in the woods and see the cool things hanging there to amuse us, as well as the fairies and the overlighting devas.
Then the very next day the Elevate event was the biggest love fest! A big shout out to Jessica and Kristen for making it happen and for all of their organization! - And for all of their helpers and for the surprise visit from our very own Dustin! We had a booth sitting between Mika and Zabe! WoW! So much Light! The frequency at the event was off the charts! So many fabulous folks- vendors, speakers, participants! Reminds me of a song- "whatcha gonna do with all that Love?" Infinite Gratitude to Connie and Michele and Melanie for running our Star Portal/Star Essence booth so elegantly!
And the magic continues! We have EMS coming up tomorrow- Saturday, then we get to learn some cool stuff about Ayurveda in Evelyn's "Know your Dosha" on Sunday Oct. 5. Hot Springs is so fortunate to have so many fabulous folks moving here and sharing their talents!
And we are lucky to have a class with our well loved and super knowledgeable Mika on Sunday Oct. 19.

Then on Sunday we have the Kirtan with Satya and Friends at 4: - which is World Peace Day. Come a little early and walk the labyrinth, check out new paths in the woods, put a prayer in the prayer wheel, and we will have a short prayer at the peace pole in the front of the portal at 3:45 right before the kirtan.. Remember that one good thought creates a ripple, so let's keep the good thoughts going. And we know that world peace begins with self peace.

It feels very unique and future meets the Now and the elemental kingdom. How she manages to merge blockchain, AI, Crypto and Nature is fascinating! And I’m on board, now that I (only sorta) understand. Come expand your your mind, your heart, AND your connection to Nature, and do some creative art in the woods while you're at it. I know this is going to be an extraordinary experience! And Fun! She is putting lots of sweet energy into Love and Flow on the Glazypeau. Alison has poured her heart and energy into weaving a magical afternoon of sacred play—where fun, curiosity, and cosmic creativity meet. Expect cauldrons of quantum potential and explorations of esoteric economics that illuminate how the elemental kingdom helps us understand systems and the interconnection of all things.
This interactive salon invites us to explore networks, energy, and the power of creative collective communication, with the heart as a portal to divinity and to communion with all creation. —including crafts in the woods (Alison is bringing all the supplies!).

Then on Sunday we have the Kirtan with Satya and Friends at 4: - which is World Peace Day. Come a little early and walk the labyrinth, check out new paths in the woods, put a prayer in the prayer wheel, and we will have a short prayer at the peace pole in the front of the portal at 3:45 right before the kirtan.. Remember that one good thought creates a ripple, so let's keep the good thoughts going. And we know that world peace begins with self peace.

I’m very excited about a new event happening in September, October and November on the 4th Saturdays. It's Alison McDowell's upcoming salon. It feels very unique and future meets the Now and the elemental kingdom. How she manages to merge blockchain, AI, Crypto and Nature is fascinating! And I’m on board, now that I (only sorta) understand. Come expand your your mind, your heart, AND your connection to Nature, and do some creative art in the woods while you're at it. I know this is going to be an extraordinary experience! And Fun! She is putting lots of sweet energy into Love and Flow on the Glazypeau. June 2025 Newsletter
Dear Beautiful Friends-EMS will now have an ending time! (Can I have a hallelujah here?) It will still be first and third Saturdays at 11:30 - so the next EMS will be July 5. And it will be guaranteed to end by 1:30!!! Beloved Vincenzo (aka Bob) will continue to be our intrepid moderator. We will start on time - 11:30 and end on time at 1:30- or earlier! It will still have the same template of going around the circle and everyone having a chance to speak- and it will move much more quickly. The opening and circle will take 60-75 minutes max. Then our 10 recess to move to the music and go to the bathroom. Then our 20 minute silent healing meditation followed by announcements.
EMS - Empathy Meditation Society is a beautiful anchor for the Star Portal. It has happened consistently since it began however long ago that was. We missed 2 times over the years, one due to extra snowy weather and one due to the ELEVATE event where most of us were. And there are nearly always some new people. We like to call it the metaphysical welcome wagon. It's a great place to come and connect with like hearted folks. And we are well aware that we have lost a few folks because it sometimes lasted forever. The idea now is that we will complete by 1:30 - or before, and then we can stay as long as we want after to connect. We did this at the last meeting and it worked out really well. We finished on time and many folks hung around to get more acquainted. Some even stayed around and worked on each other. A new friend, Patrick, brought watermelon. We haven't usually had snacks, and if anyone feels called to bring something healthy to share (vegan, gluten free especially because of the glyphosate, and no refined sugar) that's fun too. (Just please be sure to clean up, if you do bring snacks)
Feel free to come early and socialize, make some tea- or play in the woods. I , or someone who can open the door, aim to get there by 11.
This weekend - Sunday June 29 Gentle Bear will be leading a shamanic journey at 6PM
Big shout out to Gentle Bear for noticing things that need to be fixed, and fixing them! And to Mark Hartney for coming on Tuesday when Kelly and I were working in the woods, with his chain saw to cut up a big tree that came down in the wind and rain and smashed up some little trees in our new Paw Paw lounge. (the table and chairs donated by Pilar) It's now better than ever. He also cut the lower branches of the two big trees in front which makes parking easier! And new friend, Patrick, showed up and helped clean up the branches.
We are so fortunate that community is our greatest asset.
Kim's book launch party was a huge success, and her book, Beyond Grief, did make the Amazon Best Seller List! Big Congratulations!
We also have (YAY) a Kirtan with Satya and Friends on Friday July 11 at 5:00-6:30 - followed by a potluck. Mark your calendar. Flyer will be posted on thestarportal.com website soon.

Join us for a wonder filled gathering to celebrate:

The auspicious and powerful Wesak Full Moon
✨ And most especially, to honor our treasured Pilar, who will be moving to Pennsylvania at the end of this month.
🌺 Sacred Ceremony | 3:33 PM – 4:44 PM
Join us for this beautiful ceremonial event as we honor Pilar with our love, laughter, and reverence.
Pilar has the floor!
Pilar will share her unique art, speak from her heart, and perhaps even guide us in a bit of Qi Gong.
We will begin promptly at 3:33 PM, entering the sanctuary in silence through the front door, accompanied by sacred music invoking the Mother Divine. (you can drop your food off first in the kitchen)
You’ll be blessed with:
• A mugwort smudge (said to be the "mother of all herbs") followed by a specially chosen Star Essence spray and complimentary essence cocktail.
• And a sacred invocation
In this beautifully elevated space, Pilar has the floor—to share her art, her stories, her spirit. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience before she and her original art move east.
4:44 PM ‘til whenever
After the ceremony we will have a scrumptious vegan pot luck~ and we will have a special table set up for pilar in the sanctuary and every 5-10 minutes or so we will rotate folks from the table- so it will be like Pilars receiving line- where she gets to do all of the talking and will also give each person a special gift (your party favor)
Come to the ceremony only, or come to the vegan pot luck only or ideally, come to both and have double the fun. And then there is the bonfire. We can share stories, make music and whatever unfolds.
It would be awesome if you would respond to this email- (to [email protected]) if you plan to come!
That would be helpful for knowing how many party favors etc. and if you just show up spontaneously, we will be happy to have your presence even if you don’t respond...
If there is something special for Pilar you would like to add, please let me know. (or don’t, and surprise us all) ~ Looking for all the help I can get. Let’s make this super special, and let’s all have a great high vibe time. After the potluck it will be bonfire time- and music and whatever else happens.
It’s going to be wonderfully memorable ~ and we will add to the light of the world duing this powerful time of the Wesak Full moon and Mother's Day!
Everyone is invited. Because that’s how Pilar rolls. Open to everyone. Loves everyone.
We are sad to see our treasure move on, and happy for her to enter a new season, closer to her fabulous kids.
Feel free to print out some photos you might have of Pilar and bring them and I trust someone will volunteer to get a photo album of some sort and we can put them in it. Any volunteers? Text or email me.
And perhaps we will have a photo shoot with Pilar… to also put into the album. And if you can’t make it, you could send a digital card…with or without a photo~ perhaps one that we could print out and put in this album that is going to show up.
It would also be great to fill our sanctuary with flowers in her honor, so please put that on your to bring list if you have some. (and please, if possible, come a few minutes early so we can place them.)

Hi Beautiful Friends, Finally, after a month with 5 Saturdays (EMS is first and third Saturdays) and torrential rain, we are finally having EMS this again Saturday April 19 at 11:30. YAY! Hope to see you there. Mika will be there in case you want to ask any questions about his upcoming workshops.
It's a great time to walk the labyrinth and say hi to our new fruit trees. (there are 6!- wondering what # 7 will be, since 7 is our portal lucky number). Notice the sign at the road has finally been painted a fresh white, (with flower essences in the paint) waiting for the new sign.
The phenomenal breath class with Laurie Ellis was breath giving, life giving and life changing! I trust she will do it again. So good....

Please note that the Kirtan with Satya and Friend has been changed to Wednesday April 30 at 5PM. And there is another fabulous Gong event with Faye coming up in May. Cosmic Conversations.
Every one is invited.
At this moment the format is wide open. I know that 2025 portends greatness in the Cosmos, and sharing high vibe information is a valuable (and fun and interesting) way to accelerate our growth and ascension. The idea is to share inspiration and new things we are learning that are conscious and uplifting. It could be books, postcasts, blogs, vlogs, insights etc. about all kinds of cosmic stuff that might include astrology, human design, cintamani jewels, crystals, health and healing techniques, self help, sound, meditating, and way more, I look forward to this meeting to see what unfolds. Come with an open heart ready to co-create magic. It would be great if you have something uplifting to share that you feel would aid our evolution. What's lighting you up these days? I suspect it will also include a short group meditation. It could include speakers. We will begin on time and end on time, and if folks want to stay and chat that's fine!

WoW what an amazing time last week at the Portal. Faye's Sonic Gong Bath on 11:11 to a packed house, followed by Patricia Cota Robles telling us about the importance of the time between 11:11 and the Winter Solstice. Then a few days later - the beautiful high vibe SoundScape on the Full Moon with Karla, Linda, Satya, Heather Honey and Faye, followed by a yummy vegan potluck and bonfire. We are living the dream.
As most of you know, I am a passionate vegan. I have an agreement with the elementals to keep the portal vegan. It is with eager anticipation, joy and DeLight that I announce:
Sunday December 1 3:30-6:00ish at the Star Portal Deliciously Delectable RAW Vegan, Vibrational Essence Infused, Love and Gratitude multi course Dining Experience
You must pre register. $33.00 ~ Space for 33. This is NOT a pot luck. Text me at (805) 453 4898

Aperitif: Freshly juiced, essence infused, celery apple shot
There will also be a light Crystal Flower Essence Punch available throughout.

Savory Veggie Nut Terrine with gravy
Creamy Cashew Carrot Zoodle Alfredo
I trust we will fit something in with Pesto, somewhere.

Green Bean /Snap Pea Harmony with Lemon Dijon Orange Cranberry Bliss topped with Cinnamon and Pomegranate Rubies Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Pistachio crumble
Dessert:
Raspberry “Cheesecake” with almond date crust
Chocolate Mousse
Apple Pie Delight
Do remember, this is all RAW, Vegan, Organic as possible, gluten free, no refined sugar. Dates, Maple Syrup and Honey will be used to sweeten. (I know the bee keeper and feel good about the honey)
And definitely made with love, mantras and Star Essences.
I’ve made all of these with the exception of the Veggie Nut Terrine and I can attest to their deliciousness. And I’ve never done it all at once, or for 33 people. (thus the need for 9 to 11 helpers lol) This is all a fun experiment.
Helper Request
If you want to be a helper and learn how to prepare all of these delectable dishes, that will mean coming on Saturday at 2:30 for pie making, table organizing, and planning for Sunday. Sunday will be coming at 10:30 and doing all of the rest of the food prep and set up. (maybe later if we get more done on Saturday) I’m looking for 9-11 helpers and have 6 so far. (Michele, Lori, Amy, Bruce, Nia and Faye)
It will be fun, enlightening, and it will be necessary to sample the food lol. If you sign up for this, (or have already) more details will come
This is an opportunity for some of you tto learn some food prep, which you have asked for. (And some of you know way more than I do) And have some fun beaming love into the food. Let me know right away if you want to do this, as space is limited. It’s possible to come only one day if you let me know now that is your preference.
Helpers will also pay $33- The money is going to pay for the supplies and the best quality, as organic as possible, highest vibe food we can find. I’ll be taking a trip to the Natural Market in Little Rock.
Please let me know what food restrictions you have when you register.
We will let you know the ingredients of each dish as it is served.
There will be prayers, blessings, anointing, moments of silence, and I trust we will have some music if some folks show up who can sing and/or play instruments and give us a serenade now and then during our dining experience and/or between courses.
Something inspirational to share is VERY welcome and Encouraged. We will be focusing on conscious conversation. We want to co-create the highest vibe possible, especially during this powerful time occurring up to the winter solstice.

Sunday will be coming at 10:30 and doing all of the rest of the food prep and set up. (maybe later if we get more done on Saturday) I’m looking for 9-11 helpers and have 6 so far. (Michele, Lori, Amy, Bruce, Nia and Faye)
It will be fun, enlightening, and it will be necessary to sample the food lol. If you sign up for this, (or have already) more details will come
This is an opportunity for some of you tto learn some food prep, which you have asked for. (And some of you know way more than I do) And have some fun beaming love into the food. Let me know right away if you want to do this, as space is limited. It’s possible to come only one day if you let me know now that is your preference.
Helpers will also pay $33- The money is going to pay for the supplies and the best quality, as organic as possible, highest vibe food we can find. I’ll be taking a trip to the Natural Market in Little Rock.

We will let you know the ingredients of each dish as it is served.
There will be prayers, blessings, anointing, moments of silence, and I trust we will have some music if some folks show up who can sing and/or play instruments and give us a serenade now and then during our dining experience and/or between courses.
Something inspirational to share is VERY welcome and Encouraged. We will be focusing on conscious conversation. We want to co-create the highest vibe possible, especially during this powerful time occurring up to the winter solstice.
